Description: Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the Forward Networks commercial tool, and quickly become proficient in it.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Forward Networks tool to include set up and maintenance of data collection
- tasks.
- Utilizing the Forward Networks tool, model and visualize the network infrastructure in order to verify network behavior and ensure network compliance.
- Provide technical support, user training, reports, and documentation for the Forward Networks platform.
- Collaborate with external teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior engineers
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Network Security (within the past 2 years)
- Additionally, the candidate should have experience with several of the below technologies:
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications and tools.
- Linux
- AWS
- Scripting development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forward Networks platform
- Splunk/Elasticsearch
- Scripting development
- Confluence
- 20 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science,
- Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
